| Green Orchid Studio grew from my own personal wedding planning frustrations and the revelation that I had more important things to worry about than making sure everybody had directions to the ceremony. We (my husband Chris and I) had a beautiful destination wedding in Miami Beach. Almost all of our guests were out-of-towners, and trying to get information out to everybody was a nightmare. |
So, we decided to build a wedding website that had everything our guests would need in one place. We wanted something that really stood out and at the same time offered all the functions and information that our guests would possibly need. We needed to have information for out of towners, we needed a way for our guests to book hotel rooms directly online, Registry Information, RSVP, etc, etc, etc. I was spending two thirds of every day fielding phone calls when I needed to be planning a damn wedding. |
